Welcome to the Ecliptic Mariner Setting Wiki

Ecliptic Mariner is a hard sci-fi worlbuilding project intended as one of several prototype tt:Tarnished Tale TTRPG Engine settings, with some consideration made for possible cross-compatibility to Mongoose Publishing Traveler Second Edition. The setting envisions the rise of humanity as a spacefaring civilization, colonizing the greater Solar System, as well as a host of new conventional and exotic technologies.

By the focal time period of the setting, spaceflight has become routine, humans have colonies on and around a variety of celestial bodies within the Solar System, and new factions have reshaped the major political forces on earth. However, history for the Ecliptic Mariner is different from our own.
